RVTrac ‘assumes’ the year portion of a date is the currnet year. You can enter the month and day and press Tab to go to the next field. Therefore if it is 2021, entering 0801 and press tab will enter the date 08/01/2021Customers
Customers MUST be in the Customer Database before thay can be entered here, howerever if you type any letter or name which is not in the Customer Data base you will get a popup window in which you can enter the customer’s information and choose ‘Select’ and they will be populated in the Customer FieldSite
The Site selection is REQUIRED in order to assign Rates the customer is to be charged. You set the rates for each Site Individually.Sort
The Tabs at the top of this window will SORT all of the records by the Tab name.Add or Edit A Record
Select Insert at the bottom of the window to add a new Booking. Clicking Change will allow you to Change a RecordView
Thiis will let you view but not change a record. I suppose it could be used for a ‘What If’ analysis.Delete
We STRONGLY recommend you NEVER do this. It could change the results of reports.
Browse
Working with ‘Browses’ is the main tool with databases. Basically you need to have a List, or Browse (Review) of all of the data you have to know which record is to be adjusted.
This is a record which is included during the installation
of the application. We intentionally left the older dates
so you can practice to see what happens to the calculations
when you enter data.
B is a lookup for Customers in the Customer Database
A is for entering the ‘type of stay’ Select only one of these These values come from the Site
drop down list. The Site MUST be selected
C will calculate how much the guest owes for Electricity the latest version you can set the
rate for each customer
D is used for when the guest checks out
